Student Council
What is a Student Council?
At Coláiste Cholmcille, the Student Council is an important part of our school community and reflects our core values of Respect, Fairness, and Personal Growth. The Council is a group of elected students who represent the voice of their peers, working together to make our school a better place for everyone. It gives students a platform to share ideas, express opinions, and play an active role in school decision-making.
By working in partnership with staff, management, and parents, the Student Council helps to ensure that students are listened to, valued, and treated with fairness and respect. It also provides valuable opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility—supporting their personal growth both within and beyond school.
