Arts and Culture

Coláiste Cholmcille has a long and rich history of producing top-quality musicals as well as participating in local and national drama competitions.

Traditionally, we put on a TY musical every second year. Recent productions have included We Will Rock You, Back to the 80s, Grease, Hairspray, West Side Story, Camp Rock, Abba Mia and All Shook Up.

This is complemented by a variety of other performances from Battle of the Bands and Lip Syncing competitions to our work with performance group Heart Global.

Transition Year students take part in the Donegal Youth Theatre Competition in Ballybofey and the All-Ireland TY Drama Competition.

We also have a very active school choir that participates in a number of shows and events.
