World Education Day: Concern Worldwide Debate Event – Pics
The Coláiste Cholmcille debate team had the opportunity to attend a World Education Day event held by Concern Worldwide at the Sligo Park Hotel.
Students alongside their mentors Mr Hodgins and Miss Kelly discussed and highlighted issues that related to the barriers to education, worked on funding proposal activities, discussed ideas with pupils from other schools and finally demonstrated their proposal presentation skills.
Such events have aided students to discuss global issues with other schools and apply such skills to further their debating skills in fostering the debating culture at Coláiste Cholmcille.
