5th Year German Erasmus Trip- Pics
Our 5th Year German students recently took part in a student mobility exchange to Sickingen-Gymnasium in Landstuhl, Germany. During five busy and exciting days, the students experienced full immersion in German culture while meeting exchange partners and becoming part of everyday life in Germany, including travelling to school by train, attending several classes such as Chemistry, Physics, Politics (including a podium discussion), German and English. This gave a valuable insight into the German education system and daily life at the partner school.
A highlight of the week was a trip to Trier, the oldest city in Germany, where students explored impressive remains of the Roman Empire, including the Porta Nigra, the Amphitheatre and the Imperial Baths.
The final evening was a colourful farewell event where students worked together to prepare and host a special goodbye celebration.
A big thank you to all the teachers at our partner school, especially Mr Hein, Ms Woesner and Ms André, for organising such a meaningful and activity-filled week. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our school in September.
