Awards Ceremony 2022 Update- Pics

We were delighted to have our whole school community together again in the Mercy Hall for our Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 18th May. It is always one of the highlights of the school year as we get to acknowledge and celebrate the successes and achievements of our students in a variety of fields. Our guest speaker this year was former All-Ireland champion, Gaelic football pundit and addiction counselor, Oisín McConville. Oisín spoke with incredible honesty about his own life experiences, providing food for thought for both students and staff.
This year over 200 of our students received awards in categories ranging from Academic achievement, Sports, Debating, Journal design, Tutor Awards, BT Young Scientists and many more. Our most prestigious awards included the Tom Cullen Award, for proficiency in the Irish language, which was awarded to Lauren McHugh, and the Spirit of Coláiste Cholmcille Award, which went to Conor Foy. Congratulations to all our winners. Here is a small snap shot of the event.
