School Awards Ceremony 2022- Pics

We had a fantastic awards ceremony yesterday recognising the many achievements of our our students. It was the first time we could have our full school community together in over 2 years and it created a fantastic atmosphere in the school. It was great to see everyone together again and to be able to hand out awards to so many wonderful students. A particular mention to our Leaving Cert class who are preparing for their final days in CCBS. Being able to give them the traditional send off over the last few weeks is very important. We also welcomed our guest speaker Oisín McConville to school who gave a wonderfully insightful and courageous talk covering him growing up surrounded by the troubles in Armagh, his sporting achievements and his addiction to gambling. It was a real eye opening experience for everyone who heard him speak. He also gave a talk yo our 5th year students yesterday that gave a fascinating insight into his life. More images to follow!
