U14 Girls’ Blitz in St.Attracta’s CS Tubbercurry – Pics

Thanks to @lidlireland and our €50,000 funding towards girls Gaelic in the school, we are able participate in more games and give the girls more opportunities to play football and develop their skills. Our U14 Girls Gaelic Team travelled to St.Attracta’s CS, Tubbercurry for a full day blitz in preparation for their upcoming quarter final next week. A total of 93 girls participated in the 10 aside blitz. All the girls were separated into 7 teams, Dublin, Cavan, Armagh, Sligo, Cork, Mayo and Kildare. There was some excellent games and tight finishes, some controversial, but overall the green and red of Mayo were the winners of the day. The girls had a great day learning new skills and meeting new players from another school. The event was ran by the TY students and it was a great success. Thanks to all in St. Attracta’s for hosting and especially the two Ms Colemans for organising the event.
