BT Young Scientist- Pics
Best of luck to our 6 BT Young Scientists who are representing Colaiste Cholmcille at this years event. They have worked so hard on these projects are are doing their school, communities and families proud.
Alessandro Cian is competing in the intermediate individual Social and Behavourial Sciences with his project titled “Napping, a clever use of your time or a complete snooze fest?” It investigates the effects of napping on the brain! Definitely want this to have a positive effect!
Thien Laitenberger, Adam Trimble and Sean Murray are competing in the intermediate group Biological and Ecological sciences with their project titled “Transforming HOT WASTE into HOT WATER”. At a time of climbing fuel costs – it’s really valuable study.
Finally, Micheal Keown and Patrick Reynolds are taking part in the intermediate group Social and Behavioural Sciences with their project “A statistical analysis into age and gender of drownings in Ireland and to raise awareness around water safety”. For a community so connected to the water it is a vital piece of research.
