Erasmus: Dunkirk, March 2026- Pics
Day 1 & 2 of Erasmus trip to Dunkirk France.
The students arrived Thursday evening along with Mr McGlynn and Ms Z Kelly to Collège Boris Vian in Dunkirk. They met their Erasmus partners from Spain, France, Guadalupe and Romania. Their trip started with an art activity painting banners to emphasise the importance of accepting our differences and working together with others. Students began Friday morning by investigating the meaning of the EU flag and created 12 of their own yellow stars to represent unity, solidarity and harmony amongst the people of Europe. They then enjoyed a city tour of Dunkirk and took part in a search to find key buildings and landmarks in the area, a lot which have links to WW2. Everyone then returned to the school and took part in sports activities including an obstacle course. The students returned to their host families for the evening, where some went ice skating.
Everyone is looking forward to the next few days of the trip!
