Neurodiversity Poster Competition and Autism Awareness Day- Pics
Today, April 2nd, is Autism Awareness Day.
Autism Awareness Day is a time to celebrate neurodiversity, promote inclusion, and raise awareness and understanding of autism. We are proud to be an autism friendly school.
Before Easter, Ms Erskine ran a poster competition. All students were encourged to create a poster celebrating Neurodiversity and Austism Awareness. There was a huge amount of entries with a number of posters shortlisted. Ms Fagan, Mr McGlynn, Mr McGuinness and Mr Kennedy had a tough job choosing the winners and, in the end, two were chosen! Congratulations to Sofiia Cheliadyn and Michaela McGrory, both in 1.4, who were the overall winners! Each girl will receive two cinema tickets which will be presented after the Easter break.
The winning entries are pictured, along with a selection of shortlisted posters. The standard of work was truly incredible! Congratulations everyone!
