Respectol Erasmus+ Congress – Casalmaggiore, Italy- Pics
Our first three days at the Respectol Erasmus+ Congress in Casalmaggiore have been packed with activities that strongly reflect both the Erasmus+ values and our own school’s core values.
On Day 1, students travelled to Milan for a day trip, where they enjoyed a walking tour of the historic city centre. A highlight of the visit was attending an exciting Paralympic ice hockey match between USA National Para Ice Hockey Team and China National Para Ice Hockey Team.
Day 2 focused on discovering the rich local heritage of the area. Students visited the Museo del Bijou in Casalmaggiore, where they explored the history of jewellery making and took part in a hands-on workshop, creating their own pieces using copper and brass.
Students also spent time preparing presentations ahead of their contribution to International Mother Language Day activities. They proudly represented Irish culture and participated in workshops celebrating the diverse range of languages and cultures represented within the student community.
It has been a fantastic start to the congress, with students learning about culture, heritage, diversity and collaboration through shared experiences.
